Rates and Payment
Currently, I teach mandolin at $22 dollars per 1/2 hour. If you would like longer lessons, please feel free to contact me and we can arrange it.
I usually prefer lesson payments “as we go”, where payments come as lessons happen, (please see “Lesson Days and Cancellations below), but lessons can be paid monthly if desired. Lessons are paid for at the beginning, or end, of the lesson. I can receive either cheque, cash, or e-transfer.
I provide the student with all the necessary music books, which can be paid for on receipt.
Lesson Days and Cancellation
Lessons are available from 9 am to 9 pm, from Monday to Friday. I teach from an in-home studio based out of the Hunter River region.
If a student has to miss a lesson, all attempts should be made to inform me at the earliest time possible. If I am able, I can give a makeup lesson if requested.
If a large number of cancellations occur within a small period of time, the student/parent will be notified. If continual cancellations persist, lessons will end permanently. I also reserve the right to stop giving lessons to a student who is not actively participating during lesson time.
If for any reason I can not teach on a certain day/week/month, I will try to notify the student as early as I possibly can.
For anybody interested in mandolin lessons, but who live especially far away, please feel free to contact me if you would like to arrange a 1-hour “every-other-week” lessons schedule.
